Copying over a new Americana/old and alt-country mix to a Maxell XL II for Tony (BlazeES) as a thank you for the Denon tapes. Trying to figure out what happened to my 24/96 copy of Willie Nelson's Stardust, the files I used in the mix were hollow and lower in volume. Went back and checked the masters and they were the same. Had to re-record the SACD and start over to edit the two cuts I wanted into the mix. Think I've got it now, Unchained Melody just finished up and sounds as it should. Didn't have top stop the tape this time...

When I get a Jcard done and the tape on it's way, I'll post the mix up over in traveling tapes in case anyone is interested in the FLAC files.

WTF, y'all
I've been listening to a lot of stuff lately. Actually recording it to VHS tapes. I have a couple HiFi vcr's and acquired a ton of VHS tapes when my mom passed in January. They sound as good or better than what my Revox can do and tapes aren't expensive. Plus I have 6 hours of recording time per tape. I don't notice any sound quality difference between the sIow speed and faster speed, unlike the RTR. I know, maybe a fool's folly, but I listen to a lot of music this way.
