Yes, I do have the OM, and all the controls are hidden behind the flip down panel on the bottom of the deck. Thanks for the tips, as I have a metal tape to record for Daren (Dazen1), and would like to do it on this deck. I was supposed to do an evaluation on a Maxell MX-S 100. The first tape he sent me got chewed after finishing the recording on Side A with my Pioneer CT-F1250. The 1250 has never wrecked a tape before. And I`ve played tapes since then on it without an issue.stuwee said:I'm going to assume the controls are under that flip down lid on the bottom?
You should be able to put it into record/play, then hit Rec Cal and toggle between 'level' and 'Bias' using the meters to center those levels. Of course, you can fine tune by ear as well. Do you have the OM?

Pretty cool disk, it has some of the guys fom the Dead, Crosby and Nash, a very trippy 70's vibe. Jerry Garcia's pedal steel![]()
I just got it in the mail, won it in a karma drawing at Club Polk, thanks John in MA![]()
