The first six tracks I've been working on for Phoenix Christmas 2020...

but do you understand why the finished product will come from 16-bit WAV or MP3s ultimately?

Because I'm mastering them at 32-bit WAV floating bit and just SIX TRACKS (while the kick butt) take 509 MB filespace!
That ain't getting 12-13 tracks on your CD-R!

So's you are aware...

Rebel Elf

I have a new sound setup for the desktop in the living room...the pictures don't look that good because the sunlight isn't letting the flash fill in but tis is is...

Optimus STA-20 (Radio Shack cat. no. 13-1979 IIRC), with the cable plugged into the CD/TAPE input jack on the front...

Polk Audio Monitor 4s. NICE. Have to limit my excursions into thump some though, the little amp will fuss on this:

Some just jam the drums to hell in their mixes, and it's sad because the BBC News theme kicks butt. Don't use the loudness button.

PS It will go to full screem, which looks great.
