a fun thrift find in the last few weeks. Donovan music holds up pretty well for me all these years later. Operating Manual For Spaceship Earth is a hoot.

Ray LaMontagne - Ouroboros

just arrived this afternoon from Amazon. It was just over $10 when I ordered on Thurs - looks like the LP is up to $14 now, still a great deal. Great artwork and packaging on this gatefold LP, and killer music, epic songs, good sound quality and the vinyl is playing perfect so far.

In an Alan Parsons mood----" Try Anything Once"....and I really don't care if the neighbors like it...

volume 15 in the series of rock compilations put out by Polydor.

I think I have something like this on cassettes by Genesis and the Righteous Brothers.

Gigantes del Pop, that was it.

produced by Felix Pappalardi. mostly spacey folk psych - even a harpsichord on one song - with a punchy bass backing by Pappalardi.

another great LP from Lou Reed singing straight from the heart.

I just received these two Lp's today from Music Direct.
On Father's Day my three kids told me I had a gift on the way.
They must have known I needed a new copy of CSN.
The Anthony Wilson- Frogtown was a big surprise. Cool
Spinning soon

Complete Greatest Hits

Young-Hearts.jpg

This one is hard to come by in the greater Bay Area circuit of record stores. Been looking for it for years.
Finally picked it up last weekend. It's the best collection of tracks offered on any SMB greatest hits offerings and the remastering is superb.

My Sharona on the radio, the other thing that made 1979 famous (other than The Wall and maybe Blondie).

have been wanting to hear Might As Well all day. Purchased new in 1976, I think it might be my favorite of his solo LPs.
