what are you listening to?

Its about time Tony!

Loved it from the first listen myself. Its up there with Flying In A Blue Dream for me. But then again, Flying isnt all that for everyone either.

Happy to see you finally connected with it.

Thx !

I suppose it's different than any of the other albums in that is covers A LOT of different styles, instead of a more narrowed theme like so many of his catalog.
'Flying' is varied too, but there's a big chunk of hard driving, staples of his style on that one - like more than just a few.

This album is all over the place ... in a good way.
Kind of like a nice new twisty road to the coast ... over the hills, cutting through some thick forest, unexpected hair-pin turns and then open straight-aways too - where you need to utilize all six, manual gears.

Took me a while to appreciate many of the tracks simply because they aren't cookie cut.

I love driving to this one, in the pouring rain or late at night:

It cranks loud in the vehicle without any distortion.
Like mobile-WOPL loud :happy2: if there were such a thing ...

Yeah Tony - it is about time. :confused2: This is one of his best in my opinion. "A Phase I'm Going Through" rocks and must be played loud. When I first heard this album I was like Ben - loved it.

Yep.

That song really takes me back to the 'Flying' period.

Loud or go home ... no doubt.

I think I've only seen this Seeds record once before and it was hammered, the others turn up once in awhile but not this one.

Interesting, I have not run across that one in my travels.

When Mr. Farmer started getting radio play, it was a bit of a game changer and I got the 7" immediately on release. Their first LP, which included that song, came a couple of years later - when I could afford to buy albums.

Coincidentally, I found this one in a used record shop today for $6 but one side of the vinyl looked to be in quite bad shape so I passed.

produced by his lost weekend drinking buddy, John Lennon. Great covers of Many Rivers To Cross & Subterranean Homesick Blues. Of course this party includes Keith Moon & Ringo.
