what are you listening to?

That's a good 10 CC album, Derek.

Tonight, I began with a double album of "Live Dead."

Nando.

Very Nice Nando, kind thoughts to you and Geri and I hope you both are in good health. I must call you sometime soon for a chat.

I have never played that 10CC album before, first listen after a good clean.

Nice! Do you have the booklet insert with that copy? I never see it included in the album, but I ran across an original olive label pressing with the booklet last week.

Thanks, Derek. Nice to hear you are seeing someone right now. It won't be long before you'll be pulling out some more romantic albums.

I just bought the used album, but no, there wasn't an insert in my copy.

Here's the inside cover:

It turns out this is volume 1, part of at least 3 compilation volumes of early BJH tracks. I've had this one for a few years (1st picture is recycled), and I picked up Volume 3 last month.

Jorma's brother. Joey Covington, drums. Songs written by Peter Kaukonen. Nice straight-ahead well recorded early 70s rock. Guitar playing ran strong in the Kaukonen family.

Broke down and bought it.

Better than I thought; so far only a handful of stand-out tracks but worth the 10 bux for sure.
This one is complex with widely varied styles with many sounding anything but Satriani.
In one word ... Jazzy.

Will take time to grow on me for sure ...
