what are you listening to?

What IS IT about French language music videos, anyway?

If 7 1/2 IPS tape speed is better than 3 3/4....
....then 78 RPM's gotta be the best, right?

Damn... Thanks for that... Now I'm gonna be up all night.
You've pushed my mental clockwork into making a YooToob video about the mathematics of records...

Ken Boothe: Mr Rock Steady

Great music. As usual with old Jamaican pressings, noisy as all hell, but nice, dynamic bass.

Wanted to start my day blasting Hendrix Star Spangled Banner...
Cranked her up and laid the needle which proceeded to skip across the groves....'sumpins wrong!
Stuck with the CD until I can take the TT down and check it out.

The WOPL got the better of the turntable :evil4: hehe Or could be something else? Hope you get it sorted soon Fishoz.

I have not managed to get my thorens TT's to do that yet, I'd say the TD 165 would be more sensitive to vibrations, it isn't as quiet in the subsonic section.

Anyways, I'm running some lossless music at the moment via my Xonar soundcard, track 5 (Stalakdrama) was mind blowing, had the Vu meters half way on the WOPL 1000 which is about the 'safe' limit of the JBLs. I estimate from my watt meter that the WOPL was drawing 400-500 watts from the power socket at the song's peak.

Yello - Stella (Remaster Series 4)

Gotta love them WOPL's...

Yes indeed bud!
I need bigger speakers, but that's pointless since I live in such a large complex. JBLs are more than enough for now, but if I move, that's when the game changes completely.

10CC - Deceptive Bends

(Damn my Camera and its retarded focus)

That's a good 10 CC album, Derek.

Tonight, I began with a double album of "Live Dead."

Nando.
