I saw Wishbone Ash in Seattle in '73, probably at the Seattle Center Arena. I wasn't ready / blown away by the twin lead guitars, they were on fire.

I have a CD with that artwork - Where does it say "remaster"?

It doesnt. I have the remastered version. Its a later release. That picture isnt mine. Got it from internet as I was too lazy to scan mine.

Probably at the Seattle Center?? A little fuzzy on that??

Yeah, the Arena was/is a smaller venue on the Seattle Center location - I think it seats 5000 for hockey, etc. The big shows - Beatles, Stones, Who, Yes, Zeppelin, CSNY - were at the Seattle Center Coliseum.

Jimi Hendrix played at the Center Arena in 1968 and the Coliseum in 1969. Wish I'd been older and had caught one of those shows.

Now the "Hendrix museum" aka Experience Music Project is right there at Seattle Center.

The Pentangle - Solomon's Seal
(1972, Reprise) WLP/Promo; -1B/-1B

Nice. A favorite Pentangle LP. great vocals, great electric & acoustic playing and well recorded. . includes the traditional and beautiful Willy o' Winsbury - which Richard Thompson repurposed for the equally beautiful Farewell Farwell song by Fairport Convention. What a treat to hear versions of the melody sung by Jacqui McShee and Sandy Denny.

I bet the city is electric tonight!!

Football crazy, everyone is wearing Seahawks gear. Should be an interesting game - I'm expecting Rodgers to come out firing and if he has protection like he did in the 2nd half last week...look out. Will Rodgers throw the ball in Richard Sherman's direction this time? ...I think GB will need a 2 touchdown lead at halftime to win.
