Desmond Dekker: You Can Get It If You Really Want

Welcome to springtime, good mood music getting ready for a lovely night out and about.

Because Nando threw in some 10cc that I hadn't heard before, I started Googling.
In my travels I stumbled on the following vid. What makes it cool is that it involves
production techniques, a breakdown of a famous 10cc tune, a clever pictorial video presentation
and some interesting use of "tape" - - back in the day.

That's one of my most favorite songs from the year 1978. :happy7: 1977 - 1980 were very good years for music.

I've been packing for days (weeks?) and listening to MPR's classical feed. MPR = Minnesota Public Radio. They are celebrating J.S. Bach's birthday today. Dunno - Wiki gives another date.

Anyway, I offer this for the occasion of Bach's birthday:

"Yeah - he knew the musical score. Only thing worth saying when Johan was playing was Holy Harpsichord!"

I picked this oddall CD of Pink Floyd up last year at the fleamarket. Never saw another copy before but it supposedly was released in 1992. This is the really OLD PF which I prefer over anything. It is a Columbia Records release and definitely does not suffer the brickwalling of some CD's of this era. It sounds unbelievable cranked
