A new arrival in my mailbox...

The Bruce Johnston Surfing Band-"Surfers' Pajama Party" 1963 Del-Fi Records cd (Collector's Choice Musaic reissue).

...Recorded live on the U.C.L.A. campus. Bruce would later join The Beach Boys and write the hit "I Write The Songs" (but we'll forgive him for that one).

Christine Ohlman + Rebel Montez-"The Deep End" 2009 Horizon Records cd

...Christine is the singer for The Saturday Night Live Band. Guests include Ian Hunter, Dion and G.E. Smith. Good bluesy Rock + Roll.

I'm freaking. I'm in a strange mood. LOL Listening to Supertramp "Crime Of The Century" Some pretty good jams. Haven't listened to good ole Rock and Roll in a long time. This system does this well. I know this isn't good ole. LOL I get in my moods. I will do alot of Yes, ELP, Rick Wakeman. I do like ELP though. Some very good jams in that music

B.B. King + Friends-"80" 2005 Geffen Records cd
Foghat-"Zig-Zag Walk" 1983 Bearsville Records cd

...A guy at work loaned me the B.B. King disc. It's not B.B.'s best but it has it's moments. The Foghat album is the last album the original band put out before breaking up. A bit of a change in sound but a great album nonetheless! If you like Dave Edmunds stuff from this time you would probably like this.

Digging in the archives...

Ronnie D.-"Blues Demon" 1998 Blue Wave Records cd

...Bought this years ago at Media Play in the bargain bin for 50 cents. At the time I thought it was kind of "eh". Dug it out today and I liked it. Kim Simmonds guests on one track!
