Last week in a Value Village I found a mono copy of Sgt. Peppers. Just the LP in a paper sleeve, no jacket anywhere to be found so I stuck it inside one of the albums I was buying.
Was not in great shape but it cleaned up OK, did not have a ton of surface noise, no skips and sounded not too bad until "She's Leaving Home". That track was W-O-R-N as in played to death.
Made my imagination wander a bit while considering the possibilities of why just that song? There's some significance there somewhere.
