Last week in a Value Village I found a mono copy of Sgt. Peppers. Just the LP in a paper sleeve, no jacket anywhere to be found so I stuck it inside one of the albums I was buying.

Was not in great shape but it cleaned up OK, did not have a ton of surface noise, no skips and sounded not too bad until "She's Leaving Home". That track was W-O-R-N as in played to death.

Made my imagination wander a bit while considering the possibilities of why just that song? There's some significance there somewhere.

Seriously tho.. tried the latest patch for this version.. nothing doing. Will need to upgrade the server to a later version of Ubuntu to see if 4.2.5 does anything for us. Probably this weekend, or sooner if I get a wild hair..
