10cc - s/t

I'm not sure why 10cc's clever songs are interesting, but I get bored with a lot of Zappa's stuff. The approach seems similar especially here with the doo-wop throwbacks.

Have not listened to that one in a long time. Yeah, that sounds familiar. All 4 of them very talented multi-instrumentalists and songwriters, and the records have great sonics - which makes sense since they built their own recording studio - Strawberry - in the late 60s.

Hit a couple of thrifts today and flipped through some records. Found and bought one because the cover was interesting and it was local music recorded in Vancouver. Never heard of the guy before so Google searched as usual and learned he died in 2010. Also learned he was in several bands including one whose name I vaguely remember from radio ads for gigs they played around here. Tunes are tasty, copy is mint and recording quality is startlingly good.
