might be a final spin for a while, as I'm heading off Friday morning for a couple of vacation weeks with family in SW France - a week near Toulouse, a week in Biarritz, some travel through the Pyrenees range. As usual, lots of last minute work stuff to deal with/handoff before leaving.
I like the first LP because the band is raw and Lowell George's songs have a lot of bite. That green label pressing is apparently in short supply, according to Allmusic the band was not well known, the record was not heavily promoted and there were only 11,000 copies in the initial run. I see plenty of later issues of this record, but not the green label.
Lowell George's earlier band - Factory - were on F-Troop in 1967 as "the bedbugs"
Yep, just cranked the living shit out of that song, the whole tape is good. Been chasing a mint copy of the record for a LONG time. I have had two VG+ to VG++ ones in the past

Ron: That's a sight I don't see often from you - a pre-recorded cassette playing on your Pioneer deck. Nothing wrong with a good ol' pre-recorded tape.
Lee: You mentioned Equinox, and I had just begun playing JMJ's "Equinoxe."
