Looks like the bald guy did the drumming for AC/DC.

Arianna Grande was pretty good, didn't expect that, don't really know her stuff.

Pharrell Williams won for Best Solo Performance and Sam Smith Best New Artist but didn't get one for the solo performance so Tom Petty didn't get anything just yet.

Got it on the Sansui 5050 in the bedroom so back to bed? Okay, I do have 19 inches (diagonally).

I havent yet listened to I or III, they are still sealed on the shelf. Need to grab Houses soon. Physical drops at the end of the month.
I'm crossing my fingers & toes on this 'Physical' release. I truly hope it yield some stand-out, never before seen stuff in the deluxe edition beyond simple rough takes ... or whatever.

Sam Smith won another Grammy, Best Pop Vocal Album, might be his night...

The Bee Gees won a Lifetime Achievement Award and with another new Grammy winning act Pentatonix delivered that award to Smith.

Miranda Lambert musta had some naughty words as she was cut for a couple seconds but everything they played was HOT RED, especially the AMPEG heads and speaker stacks (only two and tasteful). The set was AWESOME.

Kanye West is on now...okay, it's decent for Kanye and he hasn't been on the Grammy stage in six years.

My spelling checker hates all of these weird names....it's Ariana Grande. Now Madonna is on and Miley says she told her to call her my bitch...oh god, those are some gams for a 50 some year old woman :blob8:

Well, doggie, they just hoisted Madonna straight up into the rafters by a cable belt, limp from the waist...that was an exit.

Beck's Morning Phase beat Tom Petty's Hypnotic Eye for Best Rock Album...

Ed Sheeran and also Jeff Lynne's ELO is upcoming, Pharrell Williams, McCartney and Kanye etc...

get to thy screen, stuff's getting better.

George Harrison was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Grammy posthumously by Smokey Robinson and Nile Rodgers and then they presented Beyoncé with Jay-Z for R&B single. Gwen Stefani and Adam Levine exuded absolute class. Ed Sheeran and ELO was really nice with Evil Woman and Mr. Blue Sky...

Grammy is looking wonderful at 57. Nice show.

Happy is now being remixed in a minor key. Interesting.

This segment began with a statement from President Obama about ending domestic violence, a survivor speaking and Katy Perry singing a song with three shadow figures dancing a ballet behind her and now we have a Target stores sponsored performance by Imagine Dragons from Las Vegas that is sort of a commercial and a hashtag event. The actual Grammys are on a commercial break to set up for the next segments.

The stage this year features a center circle for presentations and a screened stage with half of the fence lifting for the acts.

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are now performing Cheek To Cheek. Gaga has a tattoo of a trumpet with a mute on the inside of her right arm that is prominently displayed when raises that arm to point to Tony.

George Wein has won the Trustee's Award (he helped to create the Newport Jazz and Folk Festivals and set the stage for today's music festivals).

Usher is performing a tribute to Stevie Wonder (and will be in a CBS special tribute to him on Feb. 16).

Brandy Clark and Dwight Yoakam are duetting right now...sweet country music.

Even better...Kanye, Paul McCartney and I can't remember who are doing a really cool version of country with a really natural flow to it :) Madonna is diggin' this.

More to come that's really good and Prince will present the Album Of The Year.

Album Of The Year: Morning Phase-Beck

That's far out.

So was his performance with Chris Martin of Coldplay.

Record of the Year: Stay With Me-Sam Smith

Mr. Smith thanked the man who broke his heart for giving him four Grammys...I would guess so!

The Academy announced an alliance to promote support in copyright laws and artist support, and they paid tribute to the people the industry lost in the last year, many of which we noted here at Phoenix.

Beyoncé is performing Take My Hand, Precious Lord...very powerful and beautiful.

John Legend and Common...though it was over...not yet.

Halfbiass...Electron Herder and Backass Woof
i've loved this song since i first ran across it on one of my father's early-80's AIR-CHECKed mixtapes back in the late-1990's.
since he was SO on-again-off-again about making his J-card notations, and the cassette this song was found on was obviously made during one of his F%$K-it-all moments,
i had to go all these years, up until just very recently, not knowing what song this was, or whom the hell it was actually done by;
