I'd like to call her 'my' kitty, but I'm just kitty sitting. However, she is full grown, its just a nick name for her. Her real name is Gypsy but she gets called 'Puss' or 'Baby' in this house.

Mannheim Steamroller - Fresh Aire 1 & 2 - Transferring to Sony Metal XR60 Dolby C. This is the final master I have done from the vinyl to high res 96khz/24-bit digital. The perfect amount of click/pop filtering has been found so finally laying down the finished product to tape. Being so many quiet passages on these Mannheim albums, vinyl filtering and dolby c is a must for a perfect recording. Am very pleased with the results, and yes I have done this before but with my old OM10 cartridge, those recordings sound fine but I have not gone to as much trouble perfecting them as these new ones.

Cassette deck on top of pre amp you say?? Don't worry, its fan cooled, cool air is taken in from the back by a 12cm 2000rpm computer fan and pushed out the front, both units run very cool to the touch.

I have that one on vinyl, Jason. Geri's X brother-in-law was the road manger for The Band.

Very cool! One of my fav bands! Nobody like them out there!! It's amazing how well mofi did at bringing every vocal and instrument out front but yet gives them there own spot. Like hearing it for the first time again

One of our favourite movies is "The Last Waltz." In the opening to "Who Do You Love?" sung by Ronnie Hawkins, Ronnie makes reference to Bill, the road manager.

Love that movie! And the hawk is awesome. Levon was in ronnies band then they found Robbie and he joked. At one point Robbie's band had levon helm,Robbie Robertson and roy buchnan all at once. Could you imagine that one??

I have to wait until Geri gets home from work, but she just received an old photo via Facebook from one of her family members taken when Bob Dylan was involved with The Band. I think it was an early picture of Bob D. with Bill.

That's super cool nando! I have been to big pink and to Levon's house! There both right by Woodstock,NY. Not by the concert site but by the town itself. Big pink still looks the same as the lp cover..

I get a lot of tips on recommended music or movies from members who post here. I'm glad they do because I hate to choose a flop.
