Robert Turman: Three Phases

If you are OK with about half an hour of tape loops and repetitive drone music, this is pretty great. One of the nicest, quietest pressing I've gotten a hold of in quite a while too.

I would recommend Blues Walk if you dig on the Lou D. Gonna make that assumption that you are a D/K and Ministry fan as well, Dave?

Yup, got Blues Walk too, like most everything I've heard with Lou Donaldson.

I always loved Dead Kennedys, one of my favorite bands as a young un. Ministry I liked a lot for a while, but they kind of went too metal for me after a certain point and I got kind of tired of 'em. Land of Rape and Honey is a longstanding favorite that I probably am gonna need to go listen to again sometime soon now that I'm thinking of it. I actually like Al's Revolting Cocks project better mostly though. That was a fun era for industrial stuff.

lost in my own world
Cry of love- diamonds and debris on spotify. They were a good band. Audrey freed is a badass guitar player. I think he's with Sheryl crow right now but he shouldn't be lmfao. The lead singer just passed away a few months ago. The bass player was with Skynyrd for a brief time but he's with Sheryl crow also now lol. The first lp flat out rocks!!! This one is ok

Van Morrison - The Best Of Van Morrison
(1969, Bang)
Hey that's pretty cool to see a different pressing of that one. I have a german pressing which is under the bellaphon label, but didn't know it was the "best" of, certainly a favorite of mine.

Nice. :glasses7: It sounds like this compilation of his earlier songs was rushed out in 1969 when Van's solo career had started to take off with Astral Weeks -- without Morrison's knowledge or consent. Interesting tracks, some have unexpected decent sonics, too.

I was very impressed with the sonics on that compilation too, it sounds raw with little to no effects :glasses8:
