Their 1980 LP "Bebe Le Strange" is another one with jaw-dropping sound quality, and good tunes. They lose me after that one, although the 80s were tough on everyone....

The Yellow Payges - Volume 1 orig UNI 1st press. Man this lp OWNS. If you like fuzz guitar driven heavy psyche, this album is well worthy a place in anyones collection. Like the heaviest Yardbirds w/ a touch of early Pink Floyd. Even the couple slow tunes were cool, very trippy like stuff off Piper at the Gates of Dawn

Agreed. I have an early US pressing of Sports and it is a very well produced album. Last experience with a MOFI pressing was horrible which doesn't seem to be the norm for them.
