I have a 500 gig drive which could be sacrificed to send my share of files to Lee, then maybe he can send it to others who are interested, then eventually returned if possible. I'm broke but should be able to scrape up enough funds to send it. Whether the drive would survive the trip is another question, but certainly worth a try.

Yeah we can get this figured out. The 320gb I have is a little compact one. It would prob hold up to travel well! I will get it cleaned up tonight and load some stuff on it.then ill ship it to you or lee and we can go from there. If we decide it isn't big enough. Will get a diff one. But we can do a test run with this 320gb and see how it likes the road lol.

Lee would probably be closer to you as I am in Australia, you could send it to him then he could send it to me. As for my hard disk, I could send it to Lee then he send it to you. I'm pretty sure I still have the original padding box sent to me from a hard drive manufacturer which is very safe to post, the drive came from overseas and made it here safely. Also my drive is an internal drive, so it can't be plugged into USB, it will have to be put in Lee's or your computer to transfer the files.

D2, I'lkl send a hard drive back with your amp, you can fill it then send it on. Let's make it an external so we can USB it, everyone should be able to do that, even me...

All I have is a laptop and I'm not that computer smart so I say I send this 320 external to lee then he can send to you. Then when you get it you can copy your stuff on it and send it back to lee then back to me or whoever else wants it inbetween!

I agree, USB is the most user friendly method for all. I'm easy either way =).

1tb or 2tb would be optimal in my opinion, external usb. I would have more than 320gig to contribute.

I have more than 320 also lol. Yeah whoever is the smart computer guy needs to tell us which external would travel the best. Plus I agree 1tb or bigger would be the smartest because it would all stay there .

Any drive would be fine as long as its padded really well. Seagate and Western Digital are the most popular. External drives in general are more likely to die from running hot all the time (as they are enclosed) but generally not for what we will be using them for, relatively little strain on the drive for simple file transfers.

Mine is a simpletech pininfarina. It's just plug usb in and go. No power cord or nothing. But I'm no expert lol. I know how to put stuff on them and take it off them. Other then that I'm clueless lmao. Maybe you should find one and link it to lee. I think you know more about this then me. I'm a landscaper not no rocket scientist lol. So if ya need a brick walk or retaining wall or questions on your yard plants I'm your guy but all else I'm just here lmfao
