SLF....how old is that pricetag??

Ha-ha, probably very old. Streetlights is a San Francisco shop that's been around awhile. I picked up this record used in the last 10 years.

German Progressive rock with a British singer. Good stuff!

Streetlight Records. We still hit that joint when we occasionally go down to San Jose. It's moved around several times over the decades and went from being a relatively tiny record shop to a much bigger establishment (as far as record stores go...) in the last 10 years or so. Rasputins, Amoeba and Streetlight are the big three in the San Fran/Bay Area anymore.

If you ever make it into Berkeley California, Rasputins and Amoeba will blow your mind! You practically trip over their inventory, it's packed so thick. Rasputins is three stories with a dedicated vinyl basement level. Packed! So much so that ALL the walls are covered, edged to edge with LP's.

By the way, if any of you guys are hunting for a particular used/hard-to-find LP - let me know and I'll keep it handy on a pick list and keep my eyes open whenever I'm in the vinyl jungle.

Patricia Barber - Companion (MFSL/UHR/SACD)

Good to hear an audiophile version of this album, damn its Fat!

I have to be honest here and say, I 'wish' I owned them. However a loan of them is very nice =).

I have a bunch of the mfsl stuff on flac on my computer but the blind faith cd is the only mfsl cd I personally own. And a Japanese cd of captain beyond!!

Good idea, with appropriate padding a phoenix HDD would be cool.

I'm gonna pull out my hd's today and see if I can free one up for this. Might have to invest in another 1tb. I think I have a 320gb and a 1tb. So I'll see what I can come up with!!
