I'm 0 for 3 on those SLF...
I know the feeling, so much stuff is new to me or a first listen to the deep tracks...interesting Herbie Hancock's Cantaloupe Island with Kai Winding's trombone in the mix.

I'm the Red Knight, by grant of the Black
packing, packing, packing
get those boxes stacking!
packing, packing, packing
rawhide [snap!]

Things are piling up, and all the stereo/audio gear is now packed except for the Proton 300. Whatever I listen to, I'm having a bad case of mono! Not only that, EweToob is now my only music source, though I have been impressed with the SQ of some music vids. Been listening a lot to Stan Rogers and various Finnish singers. Oh, I've got my iTunes files, but that's a shallow vein...and starting today, my computer rig is perched on packed boxes.

Outta here end of March!

SPECTACULAR TANGOS -- Werner Muller & His Orchestra

My favorite music

I recently picked up a Spectacular Tangos LP in excellent condition, virtually noise free from the local Salvation Army op shop. Side one of my other Spectacular Tangos LP has some audible surface noise from being played on a heavy 1960's record grinder in the past, without being properly cleaned.

SIDE ONE

1 La Cumparsita

2 Blue Tango

3 Jalousie

4 Tango Bolero

5 Caminito

6 Ole Guapa

SIDE TWO

1 Violetta's Song
2 The Pearl Fishers
3 Dark Eyes
4 Hernando's Hideaway
5 A Media Luz
6 El Chocolo

Fondler errrr... fan of all Nav's avatars
Feeling mellow this morning so spinning Oregon - Winter Light. Original press on Vanguard. Great improv jazz with hints of world music and even Celtic melodic flavor. I would recommend this to anyone to wind down to, very relaxing and the recording is very good

Tedeschi Trucks Band - Revelator

imo best lp to come out in atleast 20 years!! TTB is awesome!!
Great stuff, her vocals combined with the great playing. I was surprised & happy to see a nice used copy in the bins at one of my local haunts - It was in my hands about 2 seconds after I saw it.

Love it. Funny quote from the article: "Somewhere in Norway there is a metalhead in corpse paint standing in a forest crying tears of blood.”
