Of all the record labels, fancy, clever or downright awesome, the simplicity and understated elegance of this ONE PARTICULAR Columbia label always said "LP" to me.
The orange one with the white 'PAC-MAN' font was the 45 label to me, along with Capitol's purple or yellow-orange swirl labels and maybe the rainbow MCA label.

Nice and loud - More to come
I'm listening to Baka Beyond off a Ewetoob playlist. I'd heard of the band over the years and tonight, I thought to listen. It sounds good, but takes some getting used to: African rhythms and percussion, Celtic fiddling, and singing reminding me of Adiemus.
Scored some vinyl too - The Best of the Clancy Bros. and Tommy Makem (OK shape), and a 3-LP set of Stravinsky (a Dutch pressing on the Phillips label, pristine inside and out). I won't get to hear them until the TT is set up again, but oh, the things you can find in small-town thrift stores...
Van Morrison - Its too late to stop now - Maxell UDII 90 cassette - Sourced from Vinyl (Thorens TD 160 Super) - Played back in the Harman/Kardon TD420 Cassette Deck. The light display on it is my favorite of all the decks that I own.
This really is becoming one of my favorite threads. I learn something new every time I check it out. It had been a long time sin ce I had seen Thin Lizzy's album cover..
