'Black & White' ~ INXS rare remix taped on one of my Prized MA-XG TDK's, the cart was the Grace F9E on the Thorens, has that special 'ting' that Grace MM's were famous for. So I must have taped this in the early 80's :whax: :lichmalignus: :booty:

I have to find this Lp, there's 4 remixes on it, early stuff, bought it new way back when, hard to find in all these racks and boxes of treasures......... :pirate:

Hmmm I listened to Voyage 34 by Porcupine Tree three times today and The Man Machine by Kraftwerk two or three times today. All brought to my ears off of some great Phoenix Tapes.

Hank Williams Jr.-"Ballads Of The Hills + Plains" 1965 MGM Records lp

...A fantastic album of Western songs. Unfortunately this seems to be a forgotten chapter in Hank Jr's career. This is an album that needs to be reissued!

Digging through the archives...

Roy Head-"In Our Room" 1979 Elektra Records lp

...Best known for the 60's classic "Treat Her Right" (Hey! Hey! Hey!), the blue eyed soulster tries his hand at MOR country ballads and funky horn driven dance numbers with mediocre results. One of my Dad's cutout bin finds. It probably only ever got played once when he bought it. Check out youtube for clips of Roy in his mid 60's prime. What a wildman!

P.S. His son was a contestant on "American Idol" a few years back.

Roy Clark + Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown-"Makin' Music" 1979 MCA Records lp

...Roy teams up with the blues legend for Gatemouth's usual mix of blues, jazzy swing and country.
