recorded in Nashville with David Briggs, Charlie McCoy, Norbert Putnam,
Kenny Buttrey, The Memphis Horns.

Jim Capaldi - Short Cut Draw Blood
(1975, Island)

Traffic. Steve Winwood contributes to this record.

WAYYYY before the Traffic years he was with one of those...

Alas not Spooky Tooth, although they had a starstudded lineup before they were stars. Gary Wright, Mick Jones(Foreigner, right?), Bryson Graham, Chris Stewart, Mike Harrison. And an albim title that has to stand as one of the best " You Broke My Heart So I Busted Your Jaw"

Seems I've read Capaldi's name on some earlier Humble Pie stuff, "As safe as Yesterday" and " Town and Country"--- Skaky Jake boy whatcha gonna do, Texas rangers cominafter you.......................

Thank God the tongue in cheek icon was there. Taste, yeah it comes and goes, Knowledge, well I was doing a lot of different drugs then in quantities that would kill a bull so , shit, who knows.

Did you find any shorts in Wikipedia?

A great line up there SLF. Pentangle followed by 3 of Dylan's finest. Bobby is the man.

Running through each & every VH disc in the box set this afternoon, open air audition - no cans.

Brings back lots of memories...some of these albums I've not listened to in decades...

IMO.... its the only way to do it Tony... rarely do I do any listening via cans unless for recording purposes.

Glad to see you are enjoying the VH set. I love Fair Warning. Obviously the first 3 are fantastic, but FW goes without mention a lot. And for all the Diver Down haters... gimme some Little Guitars any time.

Currently listening to:
