I'm listening to one of my faves, Nordic Roots 2, a compilation of various bands from Scandinavia, on the NorthSide label. The music is amazing - contemporary Nordic folk from various countries, played with a modern sensibility, and very well recorded. It often takes my breath away, as I reported in my cassette tape review, based on the same CD.

Playback is on my Sony DVD player, and my modded JVC MX-1 - modded per my thread "Speaker Juggling." I'm listening from another room, where my computer is, and it still sounds great. It's also just about the most easy mod I ever did.
