Chris , that feller in Iowa I've done a lot of work for over the years is going to audition the next Model One that Eric builds.
Chris has an EXTENSIVE collection of speakers and amps and preamp.
Speakers from the new Focals to Pioneer S1010's...
He will put the Model One up against McIntosh to SAE...should be an interesting shakedown...
 
Set the WOPL Time Machine to 1961 – 1966 today.
Pulled out a couple reissues, from Blue Note:
The Carmell Jones LP is amazing. The soundstage on both of these is as good as it gets.
The Lee Morgan recording sounds as if his quintet is in the room, right in front of you, his horn is so clear.
The cymbals throughout by Billy Higgins on drums on The Rajah, are fantastic.
He died much to early at age 33, but somehow left us with some incredible jazz.
Both of these LP’s are very enjoyable, and superb engineering.
