Finally scored a legit, UK version of 'Magical Mystery Tour' at a stupid inexpensive price.
A true "EP" spanned across 2, 7-inch 45 rpm slabs. Love how Parlophone products have laminated covers!

This finally completes my collection of UK pressings - which are (were) far superior to the stuff released in the United States - - back in the day.

Wish that were the case for more of all the redone stuff filling the market
Are you referring to vinyl or to hi-res digital? Most of the improvement I hear is in the re-mix and remaster but the pressing quality (or lack thereof) has turned me off of vinyl unless it's a QRP pressing.

I don’t go for remastered, actually don’t buy media since the influx of 1200 new to me CDs and Sam taking a handful of records to clean every couple weeks. There is enough new to me that I like, BT, Infected Mushroom, Etherwood to name a few to keep me listening.

Comment was about you saying new remastered are nice. I don’t read that much, usually just complaints about the finished product.

I'm not quite ready for hi res digital, streaming. But I see it coming as I want to mess with the gear less.

I don't stream; haven't seen a streaming service that pays the artists appropriately. So my hi-res is all digital downloads and jukebox player software. Between downloading files from sites like ProStudioMasters or HDTracks, or directly from the artists sites, transferring my albums to digital, storing everything on hard drives and using a DAC to connect the computer to the preamp, I'm not sure it simplified anything for me. But being able to access all of my music easily is nice. That part if simple, if that's what you're referring to.

music...the healer of souls...
Currently, the sound of rain and thunder. Power to the rig is switched off and I'm running from the laptop in case the power goes out.

Latest storm is passing through. Love the rain; apparently we had a very dry winter from the number of fires in the region.
we play thunderstorms on those quiet windless nights....and drop the tv....its on a lift...totall dark and cozy!!!
