It's been about a month since my last tipple. A hospital stay and antibiotics have (justifiably/logically/medically) prevented me from indulging in my favourite libation of Guinness.
It's been a week since my Flucloxacillin IV line was removed and seeing as it's Friday I'm tempted to go and grab a few cans.
Not sure what the time limit is between stopping antibiotics and consuming alcohol as there's not much info out there apart from ubiquitous 'don't drink while you're fighting an infection with antibiotics' etc.
I'm just on blood-thinners from a thrombosis I incurred in hosi so I'm wondering if there's a concensus that it's ok to start boozing on the Fridays again?
Thoughts?

Guinness fan here as well. Kinda like medicine that tastes great.

Here's a very tasty one, from the oldest commercial brewery in the world, since 1040 AD.

I like a good weiss every now and then. Kinda hard to find down heyah in my part of the south, though. Which is why it's every now and then...

I got the "functional" seltzer at Sprouts, they might have it at Whole Foods. The buzz is weird, kind of like a head high. It's sweetened with Stevia or something, I won't drink anything loaded with sugar or aspartame.
Yeah I like the ingredients list. I live in nowhere land so likely won't find it anywhere. I will take a look though. Online is over 3 bucks a can
