Hey Nando,

Picked up the Canon EOS Rebel T5i. That's the stock lens on it, waiting for the upgraded lens to arrive at the store to pick up.
 
You splurged for Christmas, Rob. Nice choice.

Yeah we wanted an upgraded camera and couldn't pass on the promotion at Blacks. A lot of the accessories needed with it were also 50% off. Worked out well to have a decent entry SLR camera.

How did your christmas go? Did you manage to beat that blasted cold/flu?
 
Thanks for asking, Rob. This flu lingered for about three weeks. I've been hitting it with everything I had in the medicinal cabinet - cognac, Sambuca, Vodka & Tonic...

When there's a deal on cameras, you just can't dawdle. The technology is so swift it's hard to be up-to-date. You'll have lots of fun with it!
