Well for days now I have been trying to get the harness through the tonearm. I haven't been able to get any wire threaded through. Just now I just tried a long piece of solder and I now have it hooked to the harness. So now I'm going to gently pull it back through. LOL

Larry

PS One more thing if you don't have a nice set of tweezers I suggest you get some.

Harness is through. Still have the grd wire I cut to go. Will try that in a bit. Don't know if my shrink tube will shrink small enough for the 33 awg grd wire. Plus i need a very small lug for the end. I may try to solder a splice.

OK I'll ask again. Why would you ground a carbon tonearm? I'm wondering if I need the one by the headshell. I have one at the base.

I have no straight non stranded wire. I have no idea how that solder went thru on about the 4th try. I did have some Romex. Your guess is as good as mine. LOL One guy did it with a #10 guitar string. What is it. I don't want to look like a fool at RS when I ask. LOL. Even after I send one. I will not give up.

Really?? That was a bit harsh Lee

I like his pics too, tyhey just take so long to load on the screen, we don't need wall poster size on the internet, pocket size is fine, and yours are still too big as well

btw, Larry spend a few pennys more and get a BIC lighter, those cheapo ones hurt your fingers after a while, and makes your thunb look like a crackheads

Nice work, keep it up and I'll make you do my SME!!!

That one is for special occasions. Yes I know about the sore thumb. I have a BIC. I didn't buy that one. It is good for shrink tube though. Yea thats the ticket. LOL
