Time To Cull

My two favorite receivers were 15 watts TOPS. HK 330B and Pioneer SX-525.

OK here goes Dynaco ST 80. Upgraded binding posts and Gold RCA outputs. Does have a hum till it warms up. It is pretty clean. There were none on ebay. I have no clue what it is worth. Cheap to upgrade parts.

Carys are for sale. Modded by Cary. All tubes included including spares. New boxes, biasing meter. One set of KT-88s matched. One set 6550s matched minus 1 that went bad. Onix CD1, Micro Seiki TT with Shure/Jico cart. The one in my sig.Vandys, Right amount of money the Shanling CDP will go. If the Shanling goes the Onix stays and just reverse. I will keep one CDP. Bunch of Sanus racks. Some Cherry and some black and brushed alum. Also have a Sanus base that will pull out and rotate to get to the back of your gear. Extra tubes for the Shanling and remote. No box. Carver tuner, Nikko tuner w/box, Creek tuner. Cables galore, Music Hall TT, Epos 16s. Nikko preamp with box. If you are really interested let me know. We can talk and I will take pics and give you all info. I can't sell the preamp Lee built for me. If you want a nice tube system The Vandys work great with the tubes. Other things will become available as I think about it or find them.

Please don't try to low ball me. I do know what I have.

Larry: I would be interested in some Tara Lab cables you would like to sell.

Nando.

I might be interested in some IC's as well Larry, depending on price and how many you have available. Obviously there are a couple people in line before me though.

Bubban that's just greed on my part. Everym one should try some quality oc's like those Tara Labs.

ICs patch cords, interconnects.

Let me do it this way. If I have something you may want let me know. Most know what I have. Carts, AC conditioners, AC filters. You know things that don't make a difference in sound. TTs. Power cords. 12 ft. TL bi-wire speaker cables. I think I sent one pair to Lee and they were to short. Welding cables have nothing on these guys.

I'd just like a Stanton 500E needle, and a couple simple preamps, and to figure out where that tiny litz wire coil in the Tascam 302 went/get it repaired so I can use it as the dual recording would have been helpful in avoiding THIS (which is how I'm dealing with getting the taped copies of the Christmas album, OXIDY and Scorpion8 Country done and out this week)...

I found that the Scott DD700 that I had to borrow below the Pioneer CT-W770 runs a smidge fast and clipped off the end of Jose Cuervo (honestly...would you cut off Jose Cuervo?), that the record head works okay on the Pioneer even though the playback from that deck didn't sound too good and the playback only sounded great so it went back in and the CT-3000 is there IN CASE. The Scott will be fine for the Christmas album as it's around 56 minutes. I got it figured out (probably again) that the Teac 3300's spindles unscrew to the flanges to turn and lock the reels on although the Akai GX-636 is still resisting yielding the takeup side NAB hub so I left the big reel on.

So there it sits, all in the bedroom as that's also the only room left with a working DTV converter for football and news and when I finish patching today I will be able to record 3 different things simultaneously to six recorders, and not in a daisy chain, with the DBX 200X and RS switchers plus an integrated.

None of which you have but at least I have an ounce of gumption and ingenuity figuring all that out (which takes a while these days). I'll figure out something other than how to hijack your thread Larry.

Can you give me some more info on the Nikko tuner and preamp? I recently picked up an alpha II and a beta II- both silver, so I'm looking for a matching tuner. The preamp could be either color...

P.M. me if you want.

Thanks,

Zach

Both black Preamp is a Beta 20. The tuner is matching. Both with boxes. I think manuals. I'll have to look if you want. The phono part is just really good on the preamp.
