Timdalf the Grey's WOPL 1000

Nope, Should be a "D" board and backplanes...fully comp..

So just look at pics for C board? Joe's pics are in the bias adjust thread are either A or C rev.

Timdalf the Grey's WOPL when pushing the Soniphase S6's trip the SOA circuit. Tim's has the "D" board, I am swapping out his "D" board with an "E" board. This will be the first "E" board I have put in a 700. Looking forward to AP testing this amp with the new board. Kinda cool in the mancave this evening so I just had a shot of Kentucky's finest, warmed up the insides , and now ready to go.

Tim and Lisa have tickets to see AC/DC in Denver Sunday and are leaving in the morning. They had come by to get their share of "Kentucky"s finest. Good tickets too. In one of those 15 person suites with a bar and bathroom......only way to go in the Pepsi Center....

Tim's Soniphase S6's have the EV-155X 15" 8 ohm woofs that are rated at 1000watts continous and 2000 peak....so they can suck up some juice....

the "E" board is in!!

Sounds like your in the zone tonite Lee. Feelin' good....

Are you reviewing the amp before Timdalf gets it back?

Depends on the application Ron. I've had the K's sitting on top on the Soni's and the K's go lower and louder with less power, but that said the Soni's sound damn goooooood......

Yes Dave.....bias dialed right in, offset was 1 millivolt right and left....going on the AP right now....

Rail fuses on the right channel went nuklar....two 21196's and one 21195 are toast...

I think they were stressed to begin with, (the outputs) was just north of 385 when they went......when I brought it up on the DBT the bulb wasn't quite as dim as they go so I was keepin a pretty close eye on it. The right channel heatsinks were getting real hot real quick....so my meter was all over the place lookin and I was touching every heatsink on the board and things were just too hot to be normal then ........POOF......Tim had to re-up on rail fuses about two weeks ago........that was also a clue....

This is your fuses on drugs.

Well - here's a shot of fused shorts.
