Be on the lookout for a P-303 Onkyo, another sleeper..
Most of my Pioneer stuff will go sometime this year too. I'll keep the original Spec stuff I bought in 1975, but I don't need 4- Spec 2's...
I'm in no rush at all lol. This 3600 will do just fine for years!!! That's just my pipe dream pre! It was amazing running through a 100w Cary amp that was 5k also. So dude had 10k in amp and pre and 8500$ in his CD player plus his room was set up for sound. So all the variants could make me think the pre was awesome! But maybe it was the combo!! I don't know lol that's why I'm so happy and lucky Ron steered me here before I maxed out my credit trying to recreate something!! If this makes any sence
Gotta pre amp of Lyle's to sneak in before your's gets here, the man got no tuunes.....
Now that ain't cool. Atleast I'm rockin!!
He had a 700 and a 2000
i rebuilt and got em both stolen, he got the 700 back, but not the pre. Finally found a 3300 for him, gotta go through it though.
They're wondereful pre-amps, especially when I'm done with em...I've put a lot of work in the 2 I have and they are wonderful units. In my opinion ya gotta spend a lot of money to get better......
So are they better than the 3600 you just completed?
And the phono section of the 3600 is wayyyy better...Joe said to leave the pphono section as is....first time he 's said that...
