The Worlds First Fully Comp PL 400 Using White Oak Components !!!!!

The Pig has found it's way home. It's aready snickering, a wiseass from the beginning it has been. It will now shed it's coppers for the lottery amp. This will be the featured project this weekend....

Hookay, can I wake up first?? I don't dare touch it without some coffee being ingested first.

Lord yea !!!! Have a couple or three !!!! No shaky hands on the pig !!!!

The Pig is just getting stripped of his coppers today, my turn to snicker...

First cup down Kev, I feel the smartass starting to emerge...

Normal as I'll ever get anyway!!

Joe, you should know, don't know if I've ever answered your e-mails without being so.

The Pig , as you know, is pretty much a reflection of it's builder, it really was rather incredulous about losing his coppers and still wasn't in total belief until he wound up on his back on the bench. Took some fast talkin to assure him it was for the better, he was getting a brand new SHINY set, possibly anodixed, that's what did it, anodized. He has acquiesced to the surgery...

Outputs desoldered and dropped out. Fins off next. I have to take off all the backplane board mounting hardware so I'll peek underneath and see if we have a propensity for solder blobbing that might short em out...

Did you use the 2 soldering iron trick Lee?

I did Joe. But I desoldered first to minimize the chance of the solder blob on the bottom. I just looked under neath em and what is there will roll back when I resolder the top. I have a 130 watt field iron and turned the weller all the way up and it still took awhile. A lot of copper to heat up there.

Speaker outposts cleaned up and ready for Don's board. Thermoswitch wired back up and loomed.
