He will need a fantastic nearly record setting round to make the cut.

Since -6 gets the cut to what, +4 and that -6 may go a bit lower, he is going to need at least a 5 under to reach that first threshold. Maybe if he has a great round and the current lead number drops back a bit...he is a past champion. Or lots of folks can have a terrible day and he is in the top 50.
