Yep the top motorboards are blank..but the bass bins are pre-tested and ready to go...

At the time Mike I had a 7" Skilsaw, a protractor and some straight edges, had to cut a few of the pieces more than once...but member Skratch has come up with a better system...
 
The Low volume Bass on Lee's K's is just unreal !!!!! I think his room has alot to do with that !!!! If mine will go even close to that low I will be thrilled !!!! Mids and High's are just as good !!!! But it was that Low volume bass that sold me !!!!! And I went all the way out there to listen !!! I've got a big room... 16x30... 8 high. But I have hardwood floor ! That worries me ! I might end up putting alot of rugs in the room ! And... Lee's room is block.. Mine is not !!! Ah !!!! Time will tell !
 
God you guys are trying to make me get on a plane just to hear some damn speakers ..... I wonder what a round trip ticket would cost? Wish I could drive but with kids and shit that's out of the question ATM lol. Oooo I just don't know !!! Lol

Kevin, you can put a 50lb bag of sand in them for extra weight. Hardwood floors in a big room equals a lot of echoes. I would also imagine that Lee's crossovers play a huge role

Lee's room is 8" of cement, with lots of strategically placed "stuff" for standing wave cancellation...

Sand bags are a good idea.... And yep.. The echoes are what worries me !

The crossovers are a world better than the stock shit, but that won't cure a lively room. It's funny, my K's have never been out of this room. When built in 1986, they were built in a friends basement and moved here and they've been here ever since
. There was a time when there wasn't much stuff down here and they still sounded good...

Casper and Rapid City, Gillette-Campbell County airport has puddle jumper service, and it's expensive too...
 
That's prob why. I went from south bend to there. If I went Chicago to a bigger city it's prob cheaper.. Idk nvr flew lol
