Feel better soon buddy. Those gastro-intestinal bugs are the worst thing to ever get. I hope you are back at it soon, but don't push too fast. Take your time and make sure you are totally over it....and stay hydrated!!!

Oh yeah it's a bad one , explosive departurures, sometimes non-intended. Just not my idea of fun. Can't sleep for more than 2 hours at a stretch before things get to rumbling, kjeez.......

Sorry to hear about your recent bout of illness, Lee. That's not a pleasant way to be spending a few days at home.

Nando.

Well guys n gals, the new server's sitting next to me. So far, so good but just like the current one, this doggie's loud so in the "dirty sock locker" it will go.

Things like swappin' servers take some time, but eventually we'll be on super duper hardware soon enough. With plenty of space and horsepower to spare..

(yeah I'll take some pics here in a fewz.. heheh)

Yep pretty much. I upgraded the "super os" (that's VMWare ESXi 5 for any "geeks" that know). Was testing the main firewall security when I come to find out the release of the o/s had a teeny bug - the servers inside won't automatically start up.

Grrrr...

No matter tho... doesn't take long to downgrade and move stuff around. Going to take me time here and make sure all is "right". If I don't and something happens, it's a 50 mile drive for the dudes .. not to mention the shame heheh
