I don't know. Been thinkin' though. A member owned forum??? Jer and I are open to ideas. Gotta remember, Jer and Web do most of the heavy lifting around here. I haven't a clue as to what Jer all does, but it can eat up a lot of his time. FF and I just kinda waltz in and break a tie vote now and then.

The forum has always been owned by all members here. Unless it's a matter of grave importance that can upset the forum in a critical matter, any and all "goings on" are discussed and decisions are made by consensus. We also try not to take things too seriously, as the primary goal as it's always been is to just have fun. Nobody on staff acts with impunity, and that includes Lee and myself.

Hell man... what's more important? A cheap power trip? Or treating everyone here as equals with equal voice and say?

Our operating costs compared to other forums are but a fraction, which besides "principle" is another reason why you'll not see a "donate" button or other solicitation of money. If and when we get (a whole lot) bigger, that may change but I doubt it. We still have plenty of options for growth in reserve.

So y'alls just relax and have fun. Speaking of which, let me just finish by saying that I myself DO like to have fun and clown around in here as do a lot of others (see point above about not taking things too seriously).

Point being... don't assume any "meaning" into other's posts here. If the post can be interpreted in a negative context, just ask the guy who posted it what he meant. If at that time he says "it was meant to call ya an idiot" then ok, but I seriously doubt that. (see? there's that HUMOR surfacing again )

Well, as someone banned from many, well, not many but, a few, this is the only place I've been forgiven for my idiot behavior...and gotten phone calls from friends (fellow members) to call me on my %$^& and make sure I was alright

To put it another way, we all have issues, many of us have felt like we're in the land of misfit toys but, in actuality we're in the richest land of all, very few can feel what we do...

An Update---- Jer suggested getting a more powerful and newer server to stay ahead of the curve here so that was done today. That was the easy part, now Jer has to install abunch of stuff in it and send it south, but it will get done. We now have A LOT of bandwidth, memory, space, whatever ya call it.
