Until Larry can confirm the tape I sent to him was indeed the "TDK Test Tape", whether a Phoenix Blue was mistakenly used right from the get-go, this is what I recall:
Side A (cassette shell screw side) has the first half, or so of the cassette with music recorded of your jazz (Ray Brown) without Dolby B NR. Then the last half, shy of five minutes, or so, has Larry's acoustic recording, followed by two Lindsey Buckingham tracks I recorded overtop of Larry's recording.
Side B has the entire side of your recording of Ray Brown with Dolby B NR, shy of the last six minutes, or so. I recorded two tracks overtop yours Joe, with my Pioneer CT-F9191. The songs are from: Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe and Headpins.
I take great care when I'm entrusted with someone else's belongings to return it, properly. But, because Larry hasn't responded to whether this tape is indeed the "TDK Test Tape" that was initially circulated, I don't know what to think.

OK, thank you Larry. I can't speak for Joe, but for me it is a big deal, especially when you comment in this forum, publicly, that I mistakenly sent a Phoenix Blue back to you. It's not an LOL matter, when you are experiencing it from my perspective. I thought I had done something wrong.

What bothers me is I can't remember what it looked like exactly, other then it came in a funky snap case and it was black. My memory has been horrible so that's troubling for me personally. However, I only have 23 tapes in my possession , 9 sealed, and they are all accounted for. Larry was kind to send me a phoenix blue, which is still here sealed. So Nando if what you opened was a Pheonix tape that I sent you, with Noisey Ray Brown on it, then I would have to conclude that it was that tape from the beginning. Being new here the last thing I want to do is give out my personal address and make waves.
