Quiff A Quiff is a queef by quoaf. A Quiff is the rarest form of flatulence. A quiff occurs when a penis is inserted into a vagina and the penis emits a quoaf (air or gas escaping from the penis through the urethra) thus causing the vagina to fill up with air and causing it to queef (an expulsion of wind from the vulva during coitus; a vaginal fart). Very few people have experienced this rare phenomenon.

So.................just to clarify................we are talking about a variation of the 4th Etymological Slang from the year 2000, referencing specifically a vestibular expulsion of air.

Back to the original thread.................

How is the amp sounding, Jer? The last pictures look great. Wiring looks beautiful. Wonderful job. What size was the BR? I think I sent you one, but can't remember if it was a 30 amp one? I think Lee is now putting 50 amp BR in his new builds. I can't wait to hear a fully comp 700B. How does it compare to a 400? Any other observations, or suggestions for the amp before you button her up?

I can't wait. I know she going to sound fantastic. I may play a little Allison K...but mostly it will be Fourplay, Donald Fagen, Shawn Colvin, and Sphongle. Sting use to be a favorite..Music is not what it use to be. Kinda like stereo gear....just not that much GOOD NEW stuff. I am still trying to figure out what happened. At least we don't have to keep up any more. There isn't any latest and greatest...It seems that everything has been going downhill in music for the last 10 years or so..

I know I will have the baddest ass amplifier in the world though...

Thanks Jer.......and Joe....

The latest Alison Krauss 'New Favorite' SACD I procured from a Canadian seller arrived in total mint condition. It is far and away one of the best mastered SACDs I have ever heard. Right up there with my Getz/Gilberto which is the pinnacle of recording that I have heard. The studio AKUS is very well done indeed. Rounder records does a great job with the entire process.

After you talked about this SACD before, I went to my CD rack, and guess what? I had a copy of the New Favorites SACD from the days when SACD was new. Along with a Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon and a few others, I do have a couple.....

As I remember from that time period, I could not tell any real difference in SQ from CD to SACD. (I also have the New Favorites CD). I don't know if my ears were not good enough, or if my system was not revealing enough, or what....but I will revisit this. Maybe my SACD player was not of high enough quality. What player are you using Joe? I'll have to see what I have, as my SACD players are not in my system at present.

I do remember that the AKUS recording was extremely good..

OPPO 95 Sutton. I hear a noticeable difference in SACD over CD. Listen to cymbals (most cymbals sound like mush on CD) or strings where multiple string instruments are playing. You will notice phase distortion on the CD and not so on the SACD. That is one of the components that folks complain about CD sound being annoying.
