If the White House gets its wat there will be not profits, and thus the end of the good ole United States of America. Course I guess it's kinda a foreign concept for someone who has never had to make a payroll, or even had a job, and never finished anything he has staared. Where did the money come from which purchased his house? How did he pay for college? Harvard isn't free. Don't get me started. That guy is a totally clueless idiot. Just to prove I never make mistakes, peruse the evidence forthwith; one of those times powering down SHOULD have been done. I was putting the board back on the standoffs, wasn't quite in line and "pop". I now have a 20.00 monument to my patience.I really hate posting this, buit in all fairness, here it is. I do have a spare board populated and ready to go, did learn that at least.

Excuse me......... epic FUSE failure. Last song of Supertramps-" Even in the Quietest Moments" A child of Vision is phenomenal!!! Shponglecoming up!! Nando, can you guess what song?
This amp turned out very, very nice. As clean and crisp as the 700 BUT....................... THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SUBSTITUTE FOR THE OTHER 250 watts PER CHANNEL. I am spoilt!! There is a crescendo on the above mentioned song that is goosepimple stuff with the right equipment. The 400 approaches it but the 700's take you there and put you in the 500.00 seats!!!!
Dynamic headroom is irreplaceable once you have been exposed, life ain't right without it now.
Sutton, no doubt you can make all members of the house run screaming from the sound room with this 400 on the A-7's, it will drive them plenty loud, but if you want to drive the neighborhood into hiding, it will take the 700. It's sweet, don't get me wrong, for what you have in this, tisa bargain, and like all other amps from here that go to Phoenix members, and is not picked up by a tornado or hurricane and hurled a 100 miles away, as long as I'm alive I will fix it for........nothing. You pay shipping. Congratulations, you now own a PLWO 550, serial Number 2.

I like the white LED's a lot better than the blue. Joe's latest re-incarnation of his led boards now have 6 smaller led's that seem to disburse wider, less led like.

Absolutely stunning looking, and I'll bet she sounds stunning as well. I agree with you about headroom, and know I will want it. I think the 700's will be driving the Altecs, while the 400's will do rear channel and center channel work. Plus for serious STEREO listening, the 700's will have the duty. I can't wait to see and experience the Phase Linears in a way even Bob Carver himself has not......I wonder what he would say after hearing one as it could have sounded? Does the stuff he makes today have improvements, or is he cost cutting to sell to the masses? I know he occasionally comes out with a $50,000.00 tube mono pair, but wonder if he has sold out?
I know I keep thanking you, but once again...thank you for what you have done for me and for the others on this forum. You are truly a wonderful and talented human being, and I will never be able to fully express my gratitude.
