That is the raw theoretical maximum data rate for USB 2.0. in real life files you will never get close. Now USB 3.0 has raw theoretical maximum transfer rates of 4.8GBS 10 times the speed of USB 2.0. If you could get a sustained rate of 1/4 of that you'd be a happy camper
