Are you the only one that passed American History and Civics?? I thought it was 435 but thought with the population growth we might have more by now.

If you're going to be a Republican hater ... at the very least you should know the numbers bro.

Just sayin'
I am not necessarily a republican hater, don't really care for either party unless the member is a moderate, and even then they are so worried about re-election that the rarely cross party lines.

Last count

Repubs 247
Dems 188
Non voting members 6

Sure not on that one Lee. I hated history as a kid in high school but now I love it. It is an acquired taste I suppose.

I think the number has been static and fixed by federal legislation for a long time. I think there was a brief period when it peaked at slightly higher number for some reason but then went back to the legislated number after that peak.

Within that 435 cap, there is the huge district gerrymandering going on constantly which is legislated at the local/state level, not federal level.

I am also very glad Boehner is on the way out, just wish he would take the rest of the establishment with him! What is a bit scary is that he still has 5 weeks to do even more damage to the country. This clown is known for back room deals favoring the liberal mindset.
