When I hauled water in the Red Desert used to carry an Elsinore 250 behind the cab of my truck . Had a little ramp built for it. In 2 minutes I could have that thing unloaded and tearing up the prairie. It took 30 minutes to load water usually and that meant a pretty good ride before ya had to be back. A couple toolpushers had bikes and back at the rig same thing, unload it and tear up the prairie around the location. Last time I rode I was chasing the Toolpusher on Noble 84 and he weht left at a fork and I went right and was catching 4th on a little rise , and that rise was the edge of a very deep and wide wash. Did what I cvould ,twisted that throttle hard down and pulled up on the bars and ALMOST made it. Front made it but the back tire planted firmly on the far edge of the wash and i went over the handlebars plowing the dirt with my face. Broke a couple bones in my arm and had to ride back to the rig cause I was off the beaten track. Hurt like holy hell and that was the last time I set my ass on a dirt bike, 32years ago....Rode some street bikes since, even owned a 73 sporty for awhile....
