Man, this is about a clean and quiet 400 as I have EVER seen for a stocker......

Residual Noise, Un-Weighted 10hz to 30khz...........

Listening to Skip's stock 400 right now. From the specs you would think this would sound like a WOPL, but alas it doesn't, bass is flabbier, a lot of sibilance ( well, more than we are used too with the Rev E board)...and I haven't even pulled the tranny covers to see if it's a quasi or full comp....

SOUNDS like a quasi though.....

The Shpongle flutes could elicit some listener fatigue......

Shpongle will show all weaknesses............... I hate a flabby bass... Unless you are talking about the fish.

On Moby---"Play" track 4, there is a LOOOOOOOOOOOng extended bass note that gets DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOwn........

Crystal Method ----"Vegas" Track 4 has the same thing and maybe a bit lower

Shpongle----"Are You Shpongled" Track 6 "Divine Moment of Truth" is some very "crowded" music. A lot going on in that song.....at the same time, excellent test tune..

Patricia Barber.....You can hear her swallow the mic.....

I should be ready to test the 2 Clair's (WOPL's) I'm going to finish in the next 2 days, I'll run them across the dScope and then I may need to purchase some of those recommendations to give them a burn in/ear test.

From the pic I'm guessing it's a quasi.
