Speakers are not the issue Michelle, blowing up expensive stuff inside the amp IS the issue. If the heatsinks are getting hot, the issue is not random and will NOT just go away and there is a good chance you will only make things worse. Up to you blowing up the amp seems like a far costlier mistake

Oh OK, I see what you're saying. Didn't know the amp could be in jeopardy.
 
Excessive heat is always bad (unless your running a pure Class A amp LOL)
