That's odd seeing the response curve increase in amplitude in the higher frequencies. Any issues with the test setup? It sure is flat from 20 Hz through about 20 kHz.

Self test is good. Cables between input and output on the AP , test results are excellent. It's not the AP......

I wondered about that also, any dogs howling in your neighborhood Lee?

With banana plugged speaker cables between input and output on frequency response it's +/- .01db from 80K to 10hz. Distortion is .008% from 10-80Khz. Man, it's not the AP.

Joe, that Fr graph looks A LOT like the gain/freq graph you sent me with the critical caps--C1,C4,C5,C6,C7,C10 at original values.... that graph also showed a gain starting at somewhere around 15K

The graph of the optimized values looks more like what we are used to...

Here's an interesting developement.. first pic is the left channel cruising along at 90-95 watts the second pic is just north of 100....

Lee the second pic is an amp with a broad sine wave. Just kike a girl I used to know.

Pulled one leg of D9 (isolating the protection circuit) no affect. It appears to be bandwidth liniting. Don't see any gain until around 30 k then we get some amplitude. I think it's cap related, but I have been wrong before....

Joe, my e-mail quit working again. Below the 100 watt threshold, things look good, but after that they get haywire in a hurry and limited bandwidth is one of them, and now a sinewave like this...
