The power switch failed. Not usually a warranty item but I built enough amps for this guy I'll do it anyway. One of the first White Oak chassis.

PL's used several different types of power switches.

Never seen the AH switch with that long of a shaft. I have a big box of them but the shafts are much shorter.

I have 3 Arrow Hart switches, 1 on each of my 700b's and they need to be short shaft to fit the knob. 2 are timed, (with a flat), and the 3rd is
round, uses a setscrew. Variations on knob design. Maybe they were supplied as OEM with the long shaft, and built to suit at P/L?

Yeah, these were bought at a parts supply house in Seattle when ed was on the hunt, just happens to have the long shaft....2 minutes with a Dremel cut off tool...

When you build with a Black Faceplate, do you send the knobs, out for anodizing, source new black ones, or simply polish the OEM ones,
and leave them natural aluminum finish?
