"Rev E"? When did this come out? I have been absent as of late. (I was out with major eye surgery for quite a while).

Any quick link to whereabouts a man may find a previous general conversation on said board? I'd like to read all about it.

Other measurements....

An interesting item is max output. 380 watts at 1% distortion. With 105.7 volts of rail voltage it should be around 480 watts out.

I'm listening to it now Joe. Got a scratchy pot, but it is quiet. It's got 410's for drivers, late model 2006 15024's, but the bass is "flabby", the mids and highs are not as distinct. After a week with Fish's 400, there really is no comparison. I don't get the max out number Joe.

Then the flute in track 2.......that's where the stockers really drop the ball......a flute at Mach 7 can be........tedious.....if not downright dreadful....this one isn't dreadful...but some have been....this one is a very good example of a stocker, and it's plain how far White Oak has taken the platform....

Jani had to come downstairs and give her assessment. She says the clarity is not there, nor is the bass as "crisp". She has also noticed during a very crowded or dense musical passage there is a lot more noise in with the music.....I have to agree, when it's crowded it's noisy...

Hi Lee
hope you find out what is going on soon

If you do not have full power then it may not be firing on all cylinders so to speak. Possible one of the TO-3 is not making good contact or defective, not the RCA 410's though. Had to through in my five pennies.

Glen, not even gonna try and figure out what's wrong with it. All I'm going to use of it is the faceplate and transformer. This gets a new chassis, and all the White Oak goodies.
