In your line of work that's prob the best test to pass lol
Actually this used to be my line of work for 10 years, 88 to 98. Navy Avionics Technician, Intermediate Level (we do 'em to the component... ). A lil rusty when I started again, 'bout 3 years ago. Biggest hurdle getting back into it is having to acquire all the tools of the trade! And I still need a few more heheh..

"Sweating" a power on would be better described when I used to work on ARC-161 HF radios, and in particular the amp. It would have a 3 minute or so delay before applying the 8000 volts DC to drive this tube the size of a cantelope! Either all works and you key out 800 watts continuous, or you duck LOL.

Dayum.. I almost had some gumption left for the meters.. hmmm.. maybe some shponglin' might rouse me up..

I seen the pic of lee's test equiptment earlier. I can see where it would take a bit to collect all that stuff back up. I'm sure it's salty lol. Ron's done nothing but praise your work. So it sounds like your doing just fine !

Good test equipmenbt is very expensive, I'd love to see Jer get something like an AP, he'd know what to do with it...

Actually the Rev A is different.. left, right, ground, ac1, ac2. Found it on Joe's site.. the one we have here is for the rev B or the 700, unless one of ya's can point me right there??
Which leads me to an unfortunate conclusion.. one of the meetz are bad. No movement.. I'll double check the conns.
