Miles: I've seen those colours on an album cover of a record I have. I just can't place what it was. The first thing that came to mind was "True Colours" by Split Enz, but wrong colours.

I didn't know what or who the Mondrian theme was that Daren was referring to. Now, I know. Another accomplished Dutchman! Miles, you should consider using Mondrian's art in your "The Flying Dutchman II" edition.

Oh, and if you do decide on a 2nd edition, Miles, could you record mine on a BASF Maxima Design Edition?

Yep! But what's in it for me? :toothy10:
I know, Miles, that would be hard to top in a mix tape exchange, but I do have a few exclusive tapes I had purchased from Stuart over the years. I would break one open for you, buddy. Maybe that's something to look forward down the road, once we complete the Memorex Challenge. Wouldn't that be going from one extreme to the other?

Derek: That does look like something of similar style.

Yes, I know, Miles. I was initially pulling your leg when I commented about you recording onto such a premium cassette for me. But next year, I would love to do a premium tape exchange with you. I would have to pull out all the stops to figure out what tracks to record on it.

just here... :toothy10:
Mine came from PATC...thanks again, Larry!

I would say that I've both found and received some really fun tapes this season, blank and recorded...

The blanks in the last two weeks alone

1983 TDK SA 90 ($.35) and a later 80s SA 60 (white wrapper)
3-pk Maxell Metal Capsule 100 ($1.95!)
(2) Fuji DR-I (gift and $.35)
Maxell MIC XLII

I even received 3 new Realistic 40 minute 8-TRACKS!

I also went and bought 40 Protek SCX-II 90 Chromes from TH's Freddy1 as I found them to be good tapes and they were about $1 each so I stocked up.

I've covered both Mondrian and the Partridge Family's bus a few times here or on TH, Nando :toothy10:
